'Kandasamy' Bus to go around the city

'Abirami' Ramanathan, the proud owner of the Abirami Complex in the city, has reportedly acquired the distribution rights of the Vikram-starrer 'Kandasamy' at a huge expense. Ramanathan had arranged for a specially made 'Kandasamy' bus to go around Chennai city for the sake of publicizing the film. Fittingly enough, the bus was flagged off by producer 'Kalaipuli' Thaanu and director Susi Ganesan.
'Kandasamy' Bus to go around the city
What's the speciality of this bus? The bus, scheduled to go around the city, would have stoppages in between. Those who want to watch the film in Abirami Complex can book their tickets at the bus itself. The catchy posters/stills of the film would be pasted outside the walls of the bus. The audio-system fitted inside the bus would be continually blaring off songs from the film to attract the public's attention.
Thaanu himself 'booked' the first ticket at a cost of Rs.1000. If you wonder whether a single ticket would cost Rs.1000, it is said that theatres screening 'Kandasamy' say that the 'black ticket' sales has touched a record Rs.500 per ticket. To make the film more audience-friendly, director Susi Ganesan has pruned down the length from 3 hrs and 15 minutes to exactly 3 hours.
