After making many heads turn in Tamil Nadu with his rousing brand of comedy in many movies over the past decade, Santhanam is now set to make an impression in the Malayalam industry too. He recently shot for a little role as a mobile shop owner based in Coimbatore, in the movie Salala Mobiles, starring Nazriya and Dulquer Salman. This will be his first straight Malayalam movie.
Santhanam has had a very successful year in Tamil with many hits such as Endrendrum Punnagai, Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa and Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, to name a few. He has been proclaimed as the 'comedy superstar' as well.
Here's wishing that he makes a big impact in Mollywood too.
